I have been painting portraits of dogs, horses and people professionally for 15 years, but I’ve been an artist all my life. I am fascinated by the process, the mediums, the infinite possibilities to create.
My portraits are all done in oils using methods established over many years of education as well as my own experimentation. I’ve studied at the School of Visual Arts as well as the legendary Art Students League of New York, and have learned to incorporate the methods of the old masters into my own unique style.
I love this job, if you can call it that. I love to meet my clients and hear their stories. I work closely with them to ensure that their custom piece of art is everything they ever thought it could be, and more. I love to see, and better yet, feel the presence of the subject emerge on the canvas as it begins to take shape. And I love the satisfaction of knowing I’ve given someone a piece of work that will have meaning for them for the rest of their life.
I look forward to hearing your story, and working with you to bring it to life.
